As always, I explain my choices for these awards.
Top Face: "Untamed" Nick James Ray Lopes made a good push for this towards the end of the trimester, and Okuma also did a good job, but Nick's big streak allowed him to hang onto this one. Top Heel: Ethan Dashery Josh Allen made a push for this one, but Dashery was consistently, um, dastardly throughout the time period. Most Reliable (tied): Ethan Dashery and Okuma Several people RPed for all their matches, so Dashery and Okuma both get the nod based on the fact that they also helped write matches during this period. Best Match: Anything Goes Match ("Untamed" Nick James versus Ethan Dashery) Definitely one of the more action-packed matches to happen in NLW in a while, with lots of innovative spots coming out of both men. Best Feud: Josh Allen versus Eriq Mobely and Ray Lopes Okuma versus Dashery also got considered, but that petered out and the winning feud consistently dominated the fed's storylines. Best Wrestler: Josh Allen Nick James also went undefeated in the time period and successfully defended his Legacy Championship, but Josh Allen gets the nod by dominating storylines and recapturing the NLW Championship he was never pinned for. |
